The SmartFuse - ElectroFusion System

Plasson SmartFuse ElectroFusion fittings are designed for reliable, high performance pipe jointing and long system life. The SmartFuse system features fully computerised welding control and monitoring.  

The WRAS approved range (20 – 800mm) includes: couplers, tees, elbows, end caps, saddles and transition fittings.  A unique product in the Plasson range are the ElectroFusion flexible elbows
 
Large Diameter ElectroFusion couplers with dimensions from 450 to 800 are ideal for locations where space is limited.

Plasson Lightfit fittings weld to thin walled pipes up to SDR33.

All fittings will weld to PE80, PE100 and PEX-A pipes, have long fusion zones and large cold zones  ensuring high strength welds. Larger fittings have protected pins to minimise damage during handling.
The Plasson ElectroFusion range has standard 4.7mm pins and barcodes that make them suitable for use with Plasson SmartFuse, Fusamatic and non-fusamatic controllers.  Barcode and Plasson SmartFuse automation reduces potential for errors in set up.

  ElectroFusion Smart-System 

Plasson’s ElectroFusion SmartFuse system features fully computerised welding control and monitoring, ensuring quality  and reducing the potential for  error.

Plasson SmartFuse controllers use an automatic weld time recognition system that avoids  input errors.  The controllers recognize weld times through the red pin connector or barcode.

SmartFuse controllers are compatible with other electrofusion systems.

Also available in the Plasson ElectroFusion range are accessories and specialist tools such as hand scrapers, pipe cutters and clamps.
